Our read on this product
Beyond its iconic 'click' and windproof performance, this all-metal Zippo is built to last, backed by a guarantee that if it doesn't work, they'll fix it free. It's a dependable tool designed for those who appreciate enduring quality and a touch of personal expression, like the patriotic eagle graphic here.
Owning this means you likely won't need another lighter, ever. It's refillable, designed to withstand wind, and feels substantial in hand – a far cry from disposable options. It’s the kind of item that becomes a quiet, reliable companion for lighting fires, cigars, or simply enjoying the ritual.
What makes it stand out
- The all-metal, windproof construction offers reliable performance in conditions where other lighters fail.
- Zippo's legendary lifetime guarantee means this isn't just a purchase, it's an investment in a tool that will be serviced for free if anything goes wrong.
When this isn't the right fit
- This lighter requires regular refilling with lighter fluid and occasional flint replacement to function.
- If you prefer a maintenance-free, single-use ignition source, this might not be the best fit.
Real-world notes
- Refilling the fluid and replacing the flint are simple maintenance tasks that keep this lighter going indefinitely.
- The robust metal body is durable, though some find it can develop minor scratches over time with heavy use.
Consider this Zippo if you want a flame source that’s as enduring and dependable as its guarantee.
