Our read on this product
You might be looking for a mechanical keyboard that breaks the mold of typical tech gear. This one offers a unique, kawaii-inspired aesthetic with its silicone cat design, which is also detachable for a different look or easier cleaning. Beyond the looks, it’s built for a satisfying typing experience with hot-swappable switches, allowing you to customize the feel and sound to your preference. The inclusion of multi-device connectivity means it can seamlessly switch between your computer, tablet, and phone, adding a layer of practical versatility.
The 65% layout is a sweet spot for many, offering essential keys without taking up excessive desk real estate. It’s designed to reduce typing fatigue, and the sound-absorbing materials aim for a pleasant acoustic profile. Whether you’re typing up a storm for work, customizing your gaming setup, or just want a more engaging way to interact with your devices, this keyboard aims to blend personality with performance.
What makes it stand out
- The detachable, cat-shaped silicone design offers a whimsical aesthetic not found in standard mechanical keyboards.
- Hot-swappable switches allow for deep customization of typing feel and sound, a step beyond keyboards with pre-soldered switches.
- Multi-device connectivity for up to four devices streamlines workflows for users juggling multiple gadgets.
When this isn't the right fit
- You require a full-size keyboard with a dedicated number pad or extensive function keys.
- A minimalist or strictly professional aesthetic is essential for your workspace.
Real-world notes
- The 65% layout means some keys and functions are accessed via a Fn layer, which may require an adjustment period.
- The novelty silicone design might not appeal to everyone, even with the detachable option.
Consider this if you want a keyboard that’s as fun to look at as it is to type on.
