Our read on this product
The XVX M67 offers a highly customizable typing experience, blending advanced features with a unique aesthetic. Its QMK/VIA support means you can remap every key and create custom layouts, making it a powerful tool for both programming and gaming. The gasket-mounted structure and hot-swappable switches contribute to a premium, comfortable feel that adapts to your preferences.
Beyond its programmability, the M67 stands out with its innovative IMD technology, which allows RGB lighting to shine through intricate keycap patterns, creating a visually striking effect unlike standard backlit keyboards. This, combined with its compact 65% layout and versatile tri-mode connectivity, makes it a compelling option for those seeking both function and form.
What makes it stand out
- The IMD technology offers a unique RGB diffusion effect through keycap patterns, a visual differentiator from keyboards with standard backlighting.
- Full QMK/VIA programmability allows for extensive key remapping and macro creation, offering a level of customization beyond many pre-programmed gaming keyboards.
- The gasket-mount design provides a softer, more elastic typing feel compared to traditional tray-mount or top-mount keyboards.
When this isn't the right fit
- The compact 65% layout omits a dedicated number pad and function row, which may require adjustment for users accustomed to full-sized keyboards.
Real-world notes
- The large 4000mAh battery supports extended use between charges across its various connectivity modes.
- Hot-swappable switches allow for easy replacement and experimentation with different switch types without soldering.
Consider this keyboard if you prioritize deep customization and a unique visual flair for your desk setup.
