Our read on this product
Switching from cartridges to bottled ink often feels like a messy commitment, but the wide, faceted base of this bottle keeps it remarkably stable on a desk. You spend less time worrying about accidental spills and more time focusing on the actual writing, as the formula is balanced to prevent the clogging that usually plagues cheaper inks.
The ink itself behaves well on most paper types, drying quickly enough to avoid the smudges that often ruin a page for left-handed writers or those who prefer taking fast notes. It feels like a thoughtful upgrade for anyone who has outgrown basic refills and wants to see how much more character a pen can have with a consistent, saturated flow.
What makes it stand out
- Faceted glass base provides significantly more stability than the tall, narrow bottles common in the category.
- Neutral pH formula is specifically engineered to prevent the long-term clogging often associated with highly saturated, low-cost inks.
Real-world notes
- The wide, faceted glass base prevents the bottle from tipping over during refills.
- Flow remains consistent across different nib sizes without leaving residue or crusting in the feed.
- Drying time is fast enough to keep pages clean even when flipping through a journal quickly.
Pick this up if you want to move away from disposable cartridges without turning your desk into a hazardous workspace.
