Our read on this product
This travel tray aims to bring order to the inevitable chaos of traveling with young children. It provides a dedicated surface for activities like drawing or playing with small toys, and its built-in pockets and cup holder help keep essentials within reach, reducing the need for constant searching. The wipeable surface is a practical touch for dealing with inevitable spills and messes, making cleanup straightforward after a journey.
Beyond just a flat surface, this tray integrates organization with portability. It’s designed to attach to car seats or airplane seats, and the adjustable strap suggests it can be packed away easily, functioning almost like a backpack for your child’s travel activities. This all-in-one approach means fewer loose items and a more contained play area, which can make a significant difference in maintaining sanity during long trips.
What makes it stand out
- Features a dedicated cup holder, unlike many basic lap desks.
- Includes organizational pockets for small items, which many simple drawing boards lack.
- The surface is designed to be wipeable, offering easier cleanup than fabric-only alternatives.
When this isn't the right fit
- The tray's size may be limiting for larger car seats or for children who need a very expansive play area.
- While wipeable, the fabric pockets might be more challenging to clean thoroughly if liquids are spilled directly into them.
Real-world notes
- Parents appreciate that it keeps kids engaged and reduces the amount of clutter in the car.
- The tray's ability to be easily wiped clean is frequently mentioned as a practical benefit.
- The integrated pockets and cup holder are useful for organizing small toys and drinks.
Consider this tray if you’re looking for a way to keep your toddler occupied and your car interior tidier during travel.
