The meticulous 4K transfer and 5.1 DTS HD Master Audio soundtrack mean you’re experiencing the film with the best possible picture and sound quality, a significant upgrade from previous versions.
Beyond the film itself, the real draw here is the extensive bonus material. You get a wealth of archival interviews with the cast and crew, including a fascinating on-set video diary from Cary Elwes. There are also new programs delving into William Goldman’s screenplay and the film’s tapestry, plus insights into makeup and fencing. It’s a deep dive that enriches your appreciation of how this unique movie came to be.
