Our read on this product
This chair aims to solve the common problem of discomfort and poor posture during long hours at a desk. Its standout feature, the Air LiveBack technology, is designed to adapt to your movements and provide continuous lumbar support, taking the guesswork out of finding a comfortable position. The weight-activated mechanism further simplifies this, automatically adjusting to your body weight so you can settle in quickly and focus on your work rather than constantly fiddling with settings.
While many task chairs offer adjustability, the Series 2 distinguishes itself by integrating these ergonomic features with Steelcase's reputation for quality and durability. It's built for extended use, even around the clock, suggesting it's a sturdy investment for those who spend significant time seated. The emphasis is on intuitive comfort and support, aiming to reduce fatigue and promote better posture, which can make a noticeable difference in daily productivity and well-being for office workers, remote employees, and students alike.

When this isn't the right fit
- This chair is designed for continuous, 24/7 use, but it's not intended for heavy industrial environments.
- While it offers extensive style choices, the core ergonomic features are the primary focus, not a vast array of aesthetic customization.
