What we've verified about this price
Our read on this product
These headphones aim to pull you into your audio, whether it's music, movies, or just the need for quiet. The active noise cancellation is adjustable, which is helpful when you need to block out everything or just some of the background din. It's the kind of feature that makes a daily commute or a busy office feel more manageable.
What really sets these apart is the THX Spatial Audio, which aims to create a 3D soundscape. This isn't just about louder or clearer sound; it's about making you feel like you're inside the audio. If you're someone who gets lost in movies or wants to feel every nuance of a song, this could be a significant upgrade from standard stereo. The battery life is also a major plus, easily lasting through multiple days of use.
What makes it stand out
- Offers THX Spatial Audio for a more immersive, 3D sound experience, unlike standard stereo headphones.
- Features adjustable active noise cancellation, allowing you to control how much external sound is blocked out.
- Has up to 65 hours of battery life with ANC off, significantly longer than many competitors.
When this isn't the right fit
- The 65-hour battery life is quoted with ANC off, so expect less when noise cancellation is actively engaged.
Real-world notes
- The wear detection feature, which automatically pauses and plays audio, tends to be a convenient touch for those who frequently take their headphones on and off.
Consider these if an immersive sound experience and long listening sessions are your priority.
