Our read on this product
Most earbuds demand that you seal off your ear canal, which can feel claustrophobic during long workouts or office hours. These sit lightly outside the ear, meaning you can hear a colleague speaking or a car approaching while your podcast or playlist continues clearly in the background. It removes that common tension between staying connected to your audio and staying aware of your environment.
The fit is the standout here, as the earhook design stays secure without the pressure or heat buildup that comes with traditional in-ear tips. You will find that you can wear them for hours without needing to take a break, which is a significant change if you usually find earbuds uncomfortable after a short period. The sound remains surprisingly focused, letting you enjoy your music without it feeling like you are broadcasting to everyone nearby.
What makes it stand out
- DirectPitch technology directs sound toward the ear canal, keeping audio private in a way that standard open-ear speakers often fail to do.
- The earhook design provides a more secure, stable fit for high-intensity movement compared to standard open-ear buds that simply rest in the concha.
When this isn't the right fit
- You work in an environment where total noise isolation is required for focus.
- You prefer the deep, physical seal of in-ear monitors for maximum bass response.
Real-world notes
- The earhooks are light enough that you often forget you are wearing them after a few minutes.
- Sound leakage is managed well enough for most office or gym settings, though it can still be audible to someone standing very close in a silent room.
- The quick charge feature is genuinely useful when you realize you forgot to top them off before heading out.
Pick these up if you want to keep your ears open to the world without losing the soundtrack to your day.
