Our read on this product
Typing long documents on a touchscreen often feels like a chore, but this case shifts the iPad into a legitimate laptop experience. The cantilever design holds the screen at a stable, elevated angle that makes extended writing sessions feel natural rather than forced.
Because it includes a dedicated slot for your stylus and a magnetic closure, it functions just as well as a protective folio when you are on the move. You will likely find it stays on the device more often than not, as the keyboard adds enough utility to justify the extra weight in your bag.
What makes it stand out
- Floating cantilever design provides a much more ergonomic viewing angle than standard folding keyboard cases.
- Includes a secure, integrated storage slot for the Apple Pencil, which is often missing from cheaper folio designs.
- Stain-resistant surface material is significantly easier to clean than fabric-wrapped alternatives.
When this isn't the right fit
- You own an iPad Pro or Air 11-inch model, as this is strictly for the 10th and 11th Gen versions.
- You prefer a lightweight, minimalist setup, as the magnetic cantilever hinge adds noticeable bulk to the tablet.
Real-world notes
- The stain-resistant finish holds up well against coffee shop spills and daily handling.
- The magnetic buckle keeps the case securely closed during transport, preventing the keyboard from waking the screen unnecessarily.
- Backlit keys make it possible to type comfortably in dim library or airplane environments.
Makes the most sense when you need to turn your iPad into a functional writing machine without the premium cost of manufacturer-branded alternatives.
