Our read on this product
This harness is built for the realities of walking larger breeds, offering a no-pull front clip that redirects your dog when they lurch forward. This means less strain on your arm and a more controlled experience for both of you. The secondary top leash clip is there for when you want your dog to have a bit more freedom, like on a trail.
You'll appreciate how easy it is to get this harness on and off your dog, with just two side clips and four adjustable points for a snug, comfortable fit. The padded construction ensures your dog can wear it for extended periods without irritation, and the sturdy grab handle on top is genuinely useful for helping them into cars or over obstacles.
What makes it stand out
- The front-biased leash attachment significantly reduces pulling compared to harnesses that only offer a back clip.
- Generous reflective detailing enhances visibility in low-light conditions, a crucial safety feature often overlooked in standard harnesses.
- Designed with adjustable points and a comfortable fit specifically for the proportions of large breeds.
When this isn't the right fit
- This harness is specifically sized and designed for large breeds; it may not be suitable for smaller dogs.
- While it helps reduce pulling, consistent training is still the most effective method for leash manners.
Real-world notes
- The padding is well-placed to prevent chafing, even on long hikes.
- Reflective elements are strategically placed for maximum visibility during evening or early morning walks.
- The handle provides a secure point of control for navigating tricky terrain or assisting your dog.
Invest in a more secure and comfortable walk for your large companion.
