Our read on this product
This scale offers a welcome blend of precision for personal health tracking and surprising utility for lighter items. You might buy it for accurate weight readings, but its ability to precisely measure pets, babies, or even small packages with its tare function is a quiet benefit that many owners discover later. The large LED display is easy to read, even in a steamy bathroom, and the auto on/off feature means it's always ready when you are.
While the focus is often on body weight, the versatility here is a key differentiator. Unlike basic bathroom scales that only handle personal weight, this one can accurately weigh items as light as a few ounces, making it useful for everything from portioning pet food to weighing a newborn. The inclusion of "Family Mode" for calculating baby or pet weight by subtracting the adult's weight is a thoughtful touch for households with multiple needs.
What makes it stand out
- Accurately measures body weight with advanced SaluOptim Tech, unlike basic scales that may have less precise sensors.
- Features a large LED display for easy reading, which is a step up from smaller or less bright displays on some competitors.
- Offers multi-purpose weighing for items under 22lb (like pets or packages) with a tare function, a capability not found on most standard bathroom scales.
- Includes a "Family Mode" to automatically calculate baby or pet weight by subtracting the adult's weight, a unique feature for multi-user households.
- Designed with a 6mm tempered glass platform and full-coverage base for added safety and durability, distinguishing it from scales with less robust construction.
When this isn't the right fit
- If you only need to weigh yourself and don't have a need for measuring pets, babies, or packages, simpler models might suffice.
