Our read on this product
These headphones are designed to be your constant companion, whether you're on a long flight, a daily commute, or settling in for a focused work session. The Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation effectively silences low-frequency distractions, creating a personal oasis of sound. You'll likely find yourself reaching for them more often than expected, thanks to their ability to provide deep immersion and clear audio for extended periods without needing a recharge.
Beyond the impressive battery, the Focus A5 supports LDAC for Hi-Res Audio Wireless, delivering studio-grade sound that audiophiles will appreciate. While they offer a USB-C wired connection for pristine sound, it's worth noting that the cable is sold separately, which is a trade-off for those who prefer an immediate wired experience.
What makes it stand out
- Offers 75 hours of playtime, significantly longer than many competitors, reducing charging frequency for extended use.
- Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation provides up to -45dB reduction of low-frequency noise, creating a more immersive listening environment.
- Supports LDAC for Hi-Res Audio Wireless, delivering a higher fidelity audio experience than standard Bluetooth codecs.
When this isn't the right fit
- The wired connection cable is not included and must be purchased separately.
- While comfortable for long sessions, the over-ear design may not suit everyone in warmer climates or during intense activity.
Real-world notes
- The sheer longevity of the battery life is a standout feature, often exceeding expectations for daily use and travel.
- Comfort from the cloud-soft ear cushions and customizable headband makes them suitable for all-day wear.
- The effectiveness of the noise cancellation is particularly noticeable in environments with consistent low-frequency noise, like airplane cabins or train commutes.
What you're trading off
Wired connection cable sold separately.
Consider these if uninterrupted listening and long-lasting comfort are your top priorities for travel and daily focus.
