What we've verified about this price
Our read on this product
It’s tough when you’ve got more gadgets than plugs, particularly when trying to get cords out of sight. Its ultra-thin flat plug is designed to disappear into the wall, freeing up precious space, and the inclusion of both USB-A and USB-C ports means you can charge multiple devices without needing a separate adapter for each. It’s a practical solution for consolidating your charging needs in a compact package.
The real value here is its adaptability. It’s not just a standard power strip; it cleverly incorporates a 2-prong to 3-prong adapter, making it useful for older outlets or specific international needs like in Japan. This all-in-one approach means fewer items to carry, which is a significant win for travelers or anyone looking to streamline their setup, whether at a dorm desk or a hotel nightstand.
What makes it stand out
- Features an ultra-thin flat plug designed to fit behind furniture, unlike standard bulky plugs.
- Includes both USB-A and USB-C ports for charging modern devices directly, in addition to standard outlets.
- Offers a 2-prong to 3-prong adapter function, useful for older outlets or specific international needs like Japan.
When this isn't the right fit
- While it includes a US to Japan adapter, it's not a universal international adapter for all countries.
- The 5-foot cord might be limiting if you need to reach outlets far from your desired setup location.
Real-world notes
- The flat plug is surprisingly effective at hiding behind furniture, making outlets less of an eyesore.
- Having both USB-A and USB-C ports readily available means fewer charging bricks cluttering up the space.
- The ability to mount it on a wall offers a clean, organized solution for desks or entertainment centers.
Consider this if you frequently find yourself needing to power multiple devices in tight spaces or while traveling.
