What we've verified about this price
Our read on this product
This collar is built to handle the elements, meaning you can stop worrying about it getting stinky or grimy after a muddy hike or a swim. The coated polyester material is genuinely waterproof and simply wipes clean, which is a huge relief compared to fabric collars that hold onto odors and dirt. You'll likely find yourself reaching for this one more often because the maintenance is so low.
Its strength is considerable, rated for over 750 lbs of tension, which means it’s not going to fail even with a strong puller. The added reflective stripe is a practical touch for visibility during those early morning or late evening strolls, making your dog more noticeable and safer in lower light conditions. This isn't just about looks; it's about reliable function for active dogs and peace of mind for their owners.
What makes it stand out
- Unlike standard nylon or fabric collars, this one won't absorb water or odors, making it ideal for dogs that swim or play in the mud.
- Its coated polyester construction offers superior durability and easier cleaning compared to many fabric alternatives.
- The integrated reflective stripe provides better visibility than collars without this safety feature.
When this isn't the right fit
- While durable, the collar's width varies by size, and it's important to select the correct one for your dog's breed and build.
Real-world notes
- The coated material is easy to wipe down, making it significantly less hassle than traditional fabric collars that absorb water and odors.
- You might be surprised how often you use this collar, especially if your dog enjoys water or muddy play.
- The reflective stripe is a subtle but effective safety feature for walks in low light.
A confident pick for active dogs that love to get dirty or wet.
