Our read on this product
Swapping out a scratchy or synthetic pillow cover for this muslin version changes the experience of every feeding session. The open weave of the cotton helps regulate temperature, preventing the damp, overheated feeling that often happens when a baby is pressed against a standard polyester cover for long stretches.
Maintenance is simple, as the fabric is designed to get softer with every trip through the wash. The hidden zipper design is a thoughtful touch that keeps the metal hardware tucked away from delicate skin, and the generous opening makes it a quick task to pull the cover on or off when a messy accident inevitably happens.
What makes it stand out
- Uses 100% cotton muslin instead of the common synthetic polyester found on most stock covers.
- Features a hidden zipper closure that protects the baby from metal contact, unlike exposed zipper designs.
When this isn't the right fit
- You prefer a structured, heavy fabric like velvet or thick jersey that resists wrinkles.
- Your nursing pillow dimensions fall outside the 22x17x16.2 inch range.
Real-world notes
- The muslin fabric feels significantly lighter and more breathable than standard polyester covers.
- The hidden zipper flap prevents the closure from scratching the baby or snagging on clothing.
- The cover softens noticeably after the first few washes.
Pick this up if you want to swap a rough or synthetic cover for a more breathable, skin-friendly surface that handles frequent washing well.
