Our read on this product
Most phone stands are either bulky add-ons that ruin the slim feel of your device or flimsy stickers that eventually peel off. This case hides a metal kickstand directly into the back panel, so it stays flush against your phone until you need it. Because the hinge is built into the frame rather than stuck onto the surface, it feels like a permanent part of the phone rather than an accessory you might lose or break.
You will likely find yourself using the stand more than you expect, especially if you eat lunch at your desk or watch videos while traveling. The hinge is stiff enough to hold the phone at various angles, which is a surprisingly rare trait in cases that still allow for magnetic charging. It keeps the back of your phone flat enough to snap onto a car mount or wallet without the stand getting in the way.
What makes it stand out
- The integrated aluminum hinge avoids the peel-and-stick failure points common with aftermarket ring stands.
- The hinge design allows for a wide range of viewing angles, unlike fixed-angle stands.
When this isn't the right fit
- You prefer the thinnest possible case and rarely watch media on your phone.
- You are looking for a soft, rubbery texture, as the focus here is on the rigid, protective frame.
Real-world notes
- The stand stays completely flush when closed, meaning the phone doesn't wobble when placed flat on a table.
- The textured edges provide a noticeable grip improvement compared to a smooth silicone case.
- The magnetic connection remains strong even with the added metal hardware in the back.
Pick this up if you want a stable, adjustable viewing angle without the bulk of a separate pop-out accessory.
