What we've verified about this price
Our read on this product
Most rangefinders force you to choose between the precision of a laser and the situational awareness of a GPS map. This device bridges that gap by putting a full-color, responsive touchscreen right on the side of the unit, meaning you can see the shape of the green or the distance to a hazard without pulling your phone out of your bag. It feels more like a dedicated golf computer than a simple optic.
Because the interface is built directly into the hardware, you stop relying on third-party apps that drain your phone battery or require a paid membership. You get the benefit of satellite-assisted course data for your approach shots and high-speed laser locking for your final pin-seeker, all in one package that stays in your hand from the tee box to the green.
What makes it stand out
- Integrates a full-color GPS map and laser rangefinder into a single, subscription-free interface.
- Eliminates the need for a secondary smartphone app, preserving battery life on your phone during long rounds.
When this isn't the right fit
- You prefer a magnetic mount to stick the rangefinder to your cart frame.
- You want the absolute smallest, lightest device possible and find a touchscreen display unnecessary.
Real-world notes
- The AMOLED screen remains readable even under direct, harsh sunlight.
- The battery lasts through multiple rounds, which is a relief compared to smartphone-based GPS.
- The tournament-legal switch provides a clear, tactile way to disable slope adjustments when playing in sanctioned events.
Choose this if you want the visual context of a course map and the accuracy of a laser without juggling two different devices or paying ongoing subscription fees.
