What we've verified about this price
Our read on this product
This spray offers a way to deter common household pests without resorting to harsh chemicals, making it a good option if you're concerned about the safety of your pets or children. Its peppermint oil base means it leaves behind a fresh scent, which can be a pleasant change from the usual chemical odors associated with pest control. The ready-to-use 16-ounce bottle is convenient for quick applications around entryways, baseboards, or on the patio.
While it's effective for deterring insects, some users might find the peppermint scent noticeable, which could be a consideration if you're particularly sensitive to smells. It's designed to repel rather than kill pests, so its effectiveness might depend on the severity of your insect issue and how consistently you apply it.
What makes it stand out
- Uses concentrated peppermint oil as a deterrent, unlike synthetic chemical sprays.
- Formulated to be safe around pets and children, addressing a key concern with traditional repellents.
- Leaves a fresh, natural scent instead of a chemical odor.
- Ready-to-use spray format simplifies application compared to concentrates that require mixing.
When this isn't the right fit
- The scent, while natural, is distinctly peppermint and may be too strong for some.
- It's a repellent, not an insecticide, so it deters rather than kills pests.
Real-world notes
- The fresh peppermint scent is noticeable and lingers, which some find pleasant and others may not.
- It's convenient for quick applications around the house and on the patio.
A confident pick for pet owners and families seeking a natural approach to pest deterrence.
