Our read on this product
This mouse quietly fixes a common frustration: the awkward, strained angle of your wrist after hours at the computer. Its vertical design encourages a more natural handshake posture, which can make a noticeable difference in comfort, especially if you're prone to wrist pain or spend long stretches typing and clicking. The textured grip and matte finish add to the comfortable feel, making it something you'll likely reach for over a standard mouse.
While it's designed for comfort, it doesn't skimp on functionality. You can adjust the sensitivity with three DPI settings (800/1200/1600) for precise tracking, whether you're navigating spreadsheets or engaging in less demanding tasks. It connects via a simple USB receiver, making setup straightforward for most PC and laptop users. Just remember you'll need to supply your own AAA batteries.
What makes it stand out
- Encourages a neutral 'handshake' posture to reduce wrist and arm strain, unlike flat mice.
- Features adjustable DPI for tailored cursor sensitivity, catering to different user preferences.
- Offers a comfortable, textured grip and matte finish for extended use, which is uncommon in basic mice.
When this isn't the right fit
- Mac or Linux users may need to configure settings for full functionality.
- Requires two AAA batteries, which are not included.
Real-world notes
- The vertical orientation takes some getting used to, but many find the adjustment period worthwhile for the long-term comfort.
- The matte coating feels pleasant to the touch, even during extended use.
- The scroll wheel and buttons are responsive for everyday tasks.
Consider this if you're seeking relief from wrist strain during extended computer use.
