Our read on this product
This case is built to withstand the inevitable drops and tumbles that come with kids. Its tough construction, combining silicone rubber and polycarbonate, means you can stop worrying about every bump and scratch. The anti-slip surface and adjustable hand strap make it surprisingly easy for little hands to hold securely, reducing the chances of it slipping in the first place.
Beyond just protection, this case transforms how kids interact with their iPad. The integrated swivel kickstand and shoulder strap offer multiple ways to prop up the device for watching videos or doing schoolwork, freeing up hands. There’s even a spot for a pencil, which is a thoughtful touch for budding artists or note-takers, making it a practical companion for travel, school, or just around the house.
What makes it stand out
- Offers a built-in hand strap for secure carrying, unlike many standard cases that require separate accessories.
- Includes an integrated swivel kickstand, providing stable, hands-free viewing angles without needing an external stand.
- Features a dedicated pencil holder, a practical addition for users who utilize stylus input for drawing or note-taking.
- Its rugged, shock-resistant construction is specifically engineered for child-induced drops, exceeding the protection of typical slim-fit cases.
When this isn't the right fit
- This case is designed for specific 9.7-inch iPad models and may not fit newer or different-sized tablets.
- While durable, the bulkier design might not appeal to those seeking a slim or minimalist aesthetic.
Real-world notes
- The combination of the hand strap and kickstand makes it easy to prop up the iPad for viewing in various situations, from car rides to meal prep.
- Kids seem to find the colorful and rugged design appealing, making them more inclined to use the iPad with the case on.
- Parents report a significant reduction in anxiety about iPad damage after using this case, appreciating its protective qualities.
A confident pick for parents seeking robust, kid-friendly iPad protection with added functionality.
