Our read on this product
Most desk lamps are designed to sit under your line of sight, which often means they end up casting shadows across your keyboard or reflecting glare off your screen. This lamp takes the opposite approach by reaching up to forty inches, clearing the top of dual-monitor setups and casting light downward across your entire workspace rather than just a single spot. It feels less like a desk accessory and more like a permanent piece of studio infrastructure.
The high color rendering index makes a noticeable difference if you spend your day on video calls or working with physical documents. Colors look accurate rather than washed out, and because the light is flicker-free, you stop noticing the fatigue that usually sets in after a few hours of screen time. It is the kind of upgrade that quietly removes the friction of a poorly lit home office.
What makes it stand out
- The forty-inch maximum height allows it to clear dual-monitor setups that would block standard-sized lamps.
- The high CRI rating provides color accuracy suitable for content creation, which is rare in standard task lighting.
When this isn't the right fit
- You have a very small desk where a forty-inch vertical footprint would feel overwhelming.
- You prefer a lamp that blends into the background rather than one that acts as a central piece of your workstation.
Real-world notes
- The three damping joints hold their position firmly without drifting over time.
- The memory function saves you from having to cycle through settings every time you turn it on.
- The light output is broad enough to illuminate a large desk surface evenly.
A smart pick if you need to clear your desk surface while upgrading your lighting for both focused work and video calls.
