Our read on this product
LG has been perfecting OLED for over a decade, and this TV is a testament to that. It’s built around self-lit pixels that deliver true blacks and incredible contrast, making everything from dark movie scenes to vibrant game worlds pop with detail. Even if your living room gets a lot of natural light, the 'Bright Room Ready' certification and Brightness Booster technology mean you won't be fighting glare or a washed-out picture. It’s the kind of screen that makes you want to rewatch your favorite movies just to see them again.
Beyond the stunning visuals, the Alpha 9 AI Processor Gen8 is quietly working to make your experience smoother and more personalized. It intelligently upscales content and optimizes picture and sound, so whether you’re watching a documentary or playing the latest game, it’s tailored for you. Gamers will appreciate the lightning-fast response times and high refresh rates, ensuring you’re always one step ahead.
What makes it stand out
- Offers perfect blacks and infinite contrast thanks to self-lit pixels, a hallmark of premium OLED technology.
- Delivers exceptional brightness and glare reduction, making it perform well even in well-lit or sun-drenched rooms.
- Features an advanced AI processor for intelligent picture and sound optimization across all content types.
- Includes top-tier gaming features like a 0.1ms response time and up to 144Hz refresh rate for competitive play.
When this isn't the right fit
- If you primarily watch content in a completely dark room and aren't concerned about glare, some of the advanced brightness features might be overkill.
Real-world notes
- The sheer depth of black and color vibrancy can make other TVs look dull by comparison.
- It handles fast-paced action and gaming with remarkable smoothness, even in complex scenes.
- The AI processing subtly enhances everything, making even lower-resolution content look better than you'd expect.
This LG OLED is a confident pick for anyone prioritizing an unparalleled home cinema and gaming experience, especially in rooms with challenging lighting.
