Our read on this product
This laptop skin offers a way to personalize your device while protecting it from the everyday bumps and scuffs that can accumulate. The 'galaxy' design adds a unique aesthetic, turning a standard laptop into something more visually interesting. It’s designed to be easily applied and removed, which is helpful if you like to change up your style or if you’re concerned about leaving residue on your laptop’s surface.
While it provides a layer of defense against minor scratches and dust, its primary function is aesthetic. The material is a PVC removable layer, and while it aims to prevent abrasions, it won't offer significant protection against drops or impacts. It’s best viewed as a stylish cover that adds personality and a bit of surface protection, rather than a rugged armor for your device.
What makes it stand out
- Offers a unique 'galaxy' design not found on standard laptop exteriors.
- Easily applied and removed, allowing for style changes without damaging the laptop's original finish.
- Provides a layer of protection against minor scratches and scuffs, unlike a bare laptop.
When this isn't the right fit
- This sticker is a single size and will require trimming to fit laptops smaller than 15 inches.
- It offers protection against scratches and dust, but not against drops or significant impacts.
Real-world notes
- You might need to trim the sticker yourself to get a perfect fit on smaller laptops.
- The application is straightforward, and it removes cleanly without leaving behind sticky residue.
- It holds up against dust and minor water splashes, helping to keep the laptop's exterior clean.
Consider this if you're looking to add personal flair and basic surface protection to your laptop without a permanent commitment.
