Our read on this product
Getting a larger dog dressed for a holiday can often feel like a battle against stiff, awkward fabrics that restrict movement. This hoodie leans into a sweatshirt material that feels much more like a comfortable layer than a rigid costume, which is why dogs tend to tolerate it better during longer walks or extended time at home.
The leash access point on the back is the detail that actually makes this practical for daily use rather than just a one-off photo prop. You can keep the harness underneath and hook your leash through the opening without fumbling with layers, meaning you are far more likely to actually put it on them for a chilly morning walk.
Real-world notes
- The sweatshirt fabric provides enough warmth for crisp autumn air without being bulky enough to cause overheating.
- The leash hole is positioned to align with most standard harness attachment points, saving you from having to pull the hoodie up or off to clip in.
- The front pocket is mostly decorative, though it can hold a single small treat or a waste bag in a pinch.
Pick this up if you want a festive layer that is functional enough for a regular walk, not just a costume for a single photo.
