Our read on this product
You will find yourself reaching for this the moment you need to keep a child occupied in a waiting room, car seat, or restaurant without resorting to a screen. It replaces the endless pile of loose paper and lost crayons that usually litters the backseat, turning what would be a messy cleanup into a single button press.
Because it is thin and lightweight, it disappears into a diaper bag or backpack pocket until the exact second you need it. The screen reacts instantly to the stylus, making it intuitive enough for a toddler to use without needing instructions or help from an adult.
When this isn't the right fit
- You are looking for a device that saves or exports drawings digitally, as this is strictly a non-saving, ephemeral drawing surface.
- You want a professional-grade drawing tool for an older child or adult.
Real-world notes
- The screen can arrive with faint marks from shipping, which disappear completely once the erase button is pressed.
- The battery compartment is secured with a screw, providing extra peace of mind for parents of younger children.
- It is light enough that children can easily hold it on their laps during car rides without it feeling bulky.
Keep one in your travel bag to instantly swap out screen time for a mess-free creative outlet during long trips.
