Our read on this product
When the temperature drops, ensuring your dog stays comfortable and protected is key, especially for breeds with thinner coats or older companions. This jacket is designed with a warm fleece lining to trap body heat and a windproof outer shell to shield against the elements. The easy-to-use metal snaps make getting it on and off a breeze, avoiding the fur-snagging issues that can come with zippers.
Beyond just warmth, the thoughtful design includes an integrated leash hole, allowing you to attach a leash directly through the jacket. This means less hassle when heading out for walks or to the dog park, and it ensures your dog has the freedom to move comfortably whether they're playing in the snow or enjoying a brisk hike.
What makes it stand out
- The metal snaps offer a fur- and skin-friendly alternative to zippers for easy on and off.
- A built-in leash hole eliminates the need to remove the jacket for walks, simplifying outdoor excursions.
When this isn't the right fit
- This jacket is sized for medium dogs; please measure your dog's chest girth carefully as it runs smaller than standard sizing.
- While warm and windproof, it may not provide sufficient insulation for extreme arctic conditions.
Real-world notes
- The fleece lining effectively traps body heat for insulation.
- The windproof outer shell provides protection from chilly breezes.
- Easy-to-use metal snaps are a convenient closure system.
Consider this jacket if you're looking for a functional and comfortable layer to protect your medium dog from cold and wind during outdoor activities.
