Our read on this product
You stop worrying about battery life or connection drops the moment you plug these in. Because they connect directly to your device, they function as a reliable backup when your wireless pair inevitably runs out of charge mid-commute or during a long meeting. The semi in-ear shape sits lightly, which is a welcome change if you find silicone tips irritating after an hour or two.
The magnetic backs are a surprisingly practical touch for a wired set. They snap together around your neck when you need to talk to someone, keeping the cable from snagging on your bag or coat. It turns a simple, utilitarian accessory into something that feels slightly more considered and less like a tangled mess in your pocket.
What makes it stand out
- Magnetic housings allow the buds to click together for tangle-free storage around the neck.
- Direct USB-C connection eliminates the need for a separate headphone adapter dongle.
When this isn't the right fit
- You are looking for high-fidelity audio performance or active noise cancellation.
- You prefer the secure seal of silicone ear tips for blocking out ambient noise.
Real-world notes
- The magnetic backs keep the earbuds neatly organized around the neck when not in use.
- The in-line remote provides physical buttons for volume and playback that work consistently without needing to wake your phone screen.
- The semi in-ear design stays comfortable for extended periods but does not isolate sound as effectively as ear-canal-sealing models.
Pick these up if you want a no-fuss, always-ready audio backup that bypasses the maintenance of wireless connectivity.
