Our read on this product
This speaker is built to handle the elements and stay put on your handlebars, even when the trail gets rough. Its secure mount with anti-skid pads means you won't be constantly readjusting it, and the IP65 waterproof rating means a sudden downpour or a dusty path won't be an issue. You get clear audio for your music and calls, all while keeping your ears open to traffic and your surroundings.
Beyond cycling, its versatility shines. The included carabiner makes it easy to clip onto a backpack for a hike or a beach bag, and the long battery life means it can keep going for your entire outing. While it's compact, it offers multiple input options, including TF card and AUX, so you're not limited to Bluetooth.
What makes it stand out
- Features a dedicated, secure handlebar mount designed to stay put on bikes, unlike general-purpose portable speakers.
- Has an IP65 waterproof rating, offering better protection against rain and dust than many standard portable speakers.
- Includes a built-in microphone for hands-free calls, a feature not commonly found on smaller outdoor speakers.
- Offers up to 12 hours of playtime, exceeding the typical battery life of many compact Bluetooth speakers.
When this isn't the right fit
- This isn't for someone seeking booming bass or a sophisticated home audio experience.
- If you primarily listen indoors or need a speaker for critical music listening, this might not be the best fit.
Real-world notes
- The secure mount is a genuine plus, with many finding it stays put even on rougher terrain.
- Battery life generally lives up to expectations for long rides or day trips.
- Sound quality is clear for calls and casual music listening, but don't expect audiophile-level richness.
- Its compact size makes it easy to take everywhere, but also means it won't fill a large space with sound.
Consider this if you want a rugged, secure audio companion for your bike that doubles for other outdoor adventures.
