What we've verified about this price
Our read on this product
Most tablet covers are either bulky tanks or flimsy sheets that barely stand up on their own. This one finds the middle ground, wrapping your tablet in a soft, grippy material that adds enough structure to survive a commute without feeling like you are carrying a brick. It is the type of accessory you put on once and stop thinking about, which is exactly what you want from a daily companion.
The integrated storage for your stylus is the real win here, as it keeps the pencil locked in place for charging while you move between meetings or classes. Because it covers both sides of the device, you do not have to worry about the screen getting scratched when you toss it into a crowded bag. It is a predictable, functional piece of gear that does its job quietly.
What makes it stand out
- Supports magnetic charging for the Pencil while it is tucked inside the case, avoiding the common issue of needing to remove the cover to juice up your stylus.
- Compatibility spans multiple generations of the iPad Air, making it a rare constant if you happen to upgrade your tablet hardware in the coming years.
Real-world notes
- The magnetic closure is consistent, reliably triggering the sleep and wake functions every time you open or close the cover.
- The pencil slot is sized to hold the stylus securely while still allowing it to maintain a magnetic connection for charging.
- Cutouts are positioned accurately, ensuring you can reach the Touch ID sensor and charging port without needing to peel back the edges of the case.
A sensible choice if you want a no-fuss, all-in-one protector that handles the basics of storage, stand angles, and sleep-wake functionality without complication.
