Our read on this product
You will find yourself using the sliding lens cover more than you might expect, especially if you carry your phone in a bag or pocket with keys. It creates a physical barrier that feels more secure than a simple raised lip, and the tactile click when it locks into place provides genuine peace of mind. The ring stand is equally functional, offering a stable way to prop the device up for video calls or navigation without needing to prop it against a coffee mug.
This is a utilitarian piece of gear that prioritizes function over a slim profile. Because it incorporates a metal plate for magnetic mounts and a mechanical ring, it is noticeably thicker than a standard silicone case. It is a trade-off that makes sense if you frequently use your phone for GPS in the car or want to avoid carrying a separate kickstand accessory.
What makes it stand out
- Integrates a sliding camera cover, 360-degree ring stand, and magnetic mount plate into a single chassis.
- Military-style aesthetic provides a rugged, high-friction grip that is rare in thinner, fashion-focused cases.
When this isn't the right fit
- You rely on wireless charging, as the metal plate and case thickness will block the connection.
- You prefer a minimalist, low-profile case that slides into tight pockets without resistance.
Real-world notes
- The camera slide cover clicks into place, ensuring it does not drift open while in your pocket.
- The ring stand is stiff initially, which keeps it from flopping around but requires a bit of force to deploy.
- The rugged, tire-tread texture provides a secure grip that prevents the phone from sliding off smooth surfaces.
Choose this if you want to consolidate your lens protection, car mounting, and media viewing into one rugged, no-nonsense case.
