Our read on this product
These gloves are built to handle the elements, using 3M Thinsulate insulation and a waterproof TPU membrane to ensure your hands stay toasty and dry, whether you're hitting the slopes or just braving a chilly hike. The design doesn't just focus on warmth; it also includes an anti-slip grip for better handling and upgraded touchscreen compatibility, so you can use your devices without exposing your hands to the cold.
Beyond skiing and snowboarding, their versatility extends to activities like winter hiking or even just daily tasks like shoveling snow. The adjustable cuffs and drawstring gauntlets help seal out snow, while a small zippered pocket offers a convenient spot for a ski pass or keys. They aim to solve the common problem of numb, wet hands during winter, allowing you to stay comfortable and connected.
What makes it stand out
- Offers a combination of robust insulation and waterproofing that rivals more specialized, single-purpose gloves.
- Includes touchscreen compatibility and an anti-slip grip, features often found on more expensive, sport-specific gloves.
- The design accommodates a range of activities beyond just skiing, such as hiking and general cold-weather use.
When this isn't the right fit
- These are designed for cold weather and may be too warm for milder conditions.
- While touchscreen compatible, precision tasks might still be easier with bare hands.
Real-world notes
- The insulation provides significant warmth without making the gloves feel overly bulky.
- The waterproof membrane effectively keeps moisture out, even during prolonged exposure to snow.
- The anti-slip grip is a practical addition for securely holding ski poles or other gear.
- Touchscreen functionality works well for basic operations like answering calls or checking messages.
Consider these if you need a reliable pair of gloves for a variety of cold-weather activities.
