Our read on this product
Whether you're planning a cozy movie night or an adventurous outdoor film showing, this projector is designed to be your complete entertainment solution. The integrated Google TV means you don't need a separate streaming stick; just log in to your favorite apps like Netflix, Disney+, and Prime Video directly on the device. Voice control through Google Assistant adds a layer of convenience, letting you search for shows or adjust settings without fumbling for a remote.
Beyond just streaming, the native 1080P resolution and Dolby Audio speakers aim to deliver a genuinely cinematic experience, especially when paired with the auto-focus and keystone correction that ensure a clear, rectangular image with minimal fuss. The inclusion of Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4 means smoother streaming and easier connection to external audio devices for an even more immersive sound.
What makes it stand out
- Features official Google TV for certified access to all major streaming apps, eliminating the need for external dongles.
- Includes auto-focus and keystone correction for a frustration-free, hands-off setup.
- Offers Wi-Fi 6 for smoother, buffer-free streaming compared to older Wi-Fi standards.
- Built-in Dolby Audio and Hi-Fi speakers provide a more complete out-of-the-box experience than projectors with only basic sound.
When this isn't the right fit
- If you already have a dedicated streaming device and high-end audio system, the built-in features might be redundant.
- Those needing absolute black levels for critical movie viewing in a completely dark room might find a dedicated home theater projector superior.
Real-world notes
- The auto-focus and keystone correction work well, making setup quick even when the projector isn't perfectly aligned.
- The built-in speakers offer a decent audio experience for casual viewing, but connecting a soundbar via Bluetooth significantly enhances immersion.
- Having Google TV built-in means you can leave other streaming devices unplugged and still have access to all your apps.
This is a confident pick for anyone looking to simplify their streaming setup and enjoy a big-screen experience anywhere.
