Our read on this product
These globe lights bring a festive, multicolor glow to outdoor spaces, and the shatterproof bulbs mean you won't be replacing them after every gust of wind or dropped strand. They're designed for easy hanging, with clips on each socket to help secure them to fences, railings, or even tree branches, making setup less of a chore. The ability to connect multiple strands end-to-end offers flexibility for larger areas, though it's worth noting the total length you can connect is capped.
While the multicolor LEDs are great for parties and holidays, they also offer a way to create a more subdued, colorful ambiance for everyday evenings outdoors. They are dimmable, which is a nice touch for controlling the mood, but remember you'll need to purchase a compatible dimmer separately. The energy-efficient LEDs mean they won't significantly impact your electricity bill, even when left on for extended periods.
What makes it stand out
- Unlike traditional glass bulbs, these are made of shatterproof plastic, reducing the risk of breakage from weather or accidental drops.
- The multicolor LED option allows for versatile festive lighting, setting them apart from standard single-color string lights.
- Each socket has a clip, simplifying the process of attaching them to various outdoor structures like railings or fences.
When this isn't the right fit
- A dimmer switch is not included, requiring an additional purchase to adjust brightness.
- The maximum number of strands you can connect end-to-end is limited, so plan your coverage accordingly.
Real-world notes
- The shatterproof bulbs offer peace of mind, especially in outdoor settings where breakage is a concern.
- Owners appreciate the ease of installation, particularly the clips on the sockets that aid in hanging.
- The multicolor LEDs provide a festive atmosphere, but some may prefer a more consistent single color for everyday use.
Consider these if you're looking for durable, easy-to-install decorative lighting that can add a pop of color to your patio or backyard.
