Our read on this product
Protecting a device with such a large, exposed screen usually requires piecing together a case, a cover, and a protector from different sources. This bundle removes the guesswork by providing a complete safety system in one go, so you can stop worrying about how your console will survive the bottom of a backpack.
The internal layout is the most practical part of the design. The soft lining and the way the storage pouch sits beneath the device ensure that nothing is pressing against the screen while the case is zipped shut. It turns a fragile piece of hardware into something you can actually toss into a travel bag without a second thought.
What makes it stand out
- Includes a tempered glass screen protector specifically sized for the Portal, saving you the trouble of finding one that fits the unique dimensions.
- The internal storage pouch is specifically placed to avoid pressure points on the screen, a common flaw in generic universal cases.
When this isn't the right fit
- You prefer a premium, ruggedized aesthetic over the standard clear plastic look.
- You already own a high-quality carrying case and only need specific accessories.
Real-world notes
- The clear shell is designed in three separate parts, which makes it easier to snap onto the device than a single, rigid piece.
- The interior pouch is intentionally positioned so it does not make contact with the screen when the case is closed.
- The external texture of the carrying case is easy to wipe clean, which helps keep it looking new after repeated use.
Pick this up if you want a complete, ready-to-use protection kit that keeps your console safe from the moment you take it out of the box.
