Our read on this product
This case for the Xiaomi Poco X7 Pro 5G tackles two common owner frustrations: accidental camera activation and the worry of lens scratches. The sliding camera cover, secured with a fastener, offers a tactile way to ensure your privacy and protect your lenses when not in use. It’s a thoughtful detail that goes beyond basic drop protection, addressing specific concerns about the phone’s most vulnerable features.
Beyond the camera cover, the case is built to withstand daily wear and tear. It combines a flexible TPU frame with a hard PC back, and incorporates airbag-like cushioning in the corners for enhanced shock absorption. The textured sides aim to improve grip, making it less likely to slip from your hand, which is a practical benefit for a phone that’s often used on the go.
What makes it stand out
- Features a patented sliding camera cover with a fastener for enhanced privacy and lens protection, unlike cases with fixed camera cutouts.
- Incorporates corner airbags and a dual-material construction (TPU and PC) for superior shock absorption compared to single-material cases.
- Offers a textured grip design on the sides to reduce the chance of accidental drops.
When this isn't the right fit
- This case is specifically designed for the Xiaomi Poco X7 Pro 5G and will not fit other models.
- The slide cover mechanism, while secure, adds a slight thickness to the case.
Real-world notes
- The slide cover includes a fastener to keep it securely closed, preventing accidental openings.
- The textured sides are designed to provide a better grip on the phone.
- The combination of TPU and PC materials, along with corner airbags, aims to protect against drops and scratches.
Consider this case if robust camera protection and a secure grip are your top priorities for your Xiaomi Poco X7 Pro 5G.
