Our read on this product
You probably like your iPhone 11 Pro Max but feel like you are missing out on the magnetic ecosystem that came with later models. This case essentially backports that functionality, allowing you to snap on modern wallets, battery packs, and car mounts without needing to upgrade your entire phone. It keeps the device secure with reinforced corners, which is a relief if you tend to be a bit clumsy with your hardware.
The clear finish is treated to stay transparent longer than the standard plastic cases you might pick up at a convenience store. It adds a bit of grip to the sides, making the large Pro Max feel slightly less like a slippery bar of soap in your hand. You get the protection you need for a phone that is getting on in years, while gaining the convenience of modern magnetic accessories.
What makes it stand out
- Integrates a full magnetic array specifically for a legacy model that lacked it at launch.
- Uses antioxidant materials that resist the rapid yellowing common in budget clear cases.
When this isn't the right fit
- You prefer a case with a built-in kickstand or folio cover.
- You are looking for a high-end leather or aesthetic finish rather than a functional clear case.
- You have already decided to upgrade your phone in the next few months.
Real-world notes
- The magnets are strong enough to hold onto car mounts reliably during daily commutes.
- The raised edges around the camera and screen provide a noticeable buffer when laying the phone on flat surfaces.
- The side texture adds a subtle grip that helps prevent drops before they happen.
Pick this up if you want to keep your current phone feeling modern without the expense of a new device.
