Our read on this product
This wireless chime system offers a straightforward way to monitor entries, whether you’re a homeowner wanting to know when someone arrives or a business owner needing to keep tabs on your shop’s entrance. Installation is designed to be simple, with the sensor and chime already paired, requiring just a few minutes to set up by sticking the sensor near the door and plugging in the receiver.
The sensor has an impressive battery life, designed to last through thousands of uses, and the chime receiver offers a generous wireless range, ensuring it works even in larger spaces. You can also expand the system by pairing additional sensors or receivers, and choose from 58 different ringtones with adjustable volume levels to suit your preferences.
What makes it stand out
- It offers a 600ft wireless range, which is substantial for covering larger homes or business spaces.
- The system is expandable, allowing you to pair up to 58 sensors or receivers to cover multiple entry points or zones.
When this isn't the right fit
- The effectiveness of the 0.4-inch maximum gap between the sensor parts may vary depending on the door frame's exact fit.
- While it offers many ringtones, the sound quality and distinctiveness of each may not suit everyone's preference.
Real-world notes
- The sensor requires alkaline batteries and is designed for ultra-low power consumption, aiming for long battery life.
- The chime receiver plugs into a standard electrical outlet, so placement is limited to areas near power sources.
Consider this chime if you need a reliable alert for door activity without complex setup.
