Our read on this product
This camera solves the problem of needing professional-looking video without the bulk. Its compact size means it's easy to carry everywhere, and the built-in gimbal means you get smooth footage even when you're moving. The 1-inch sensor captures a lot of light, which is great for those tricky sunset or low-light shots, and the 4K/120fps capability means you can get really detailed slow-motion if you need it.
The ActiveTrack 6.0 is a standout feature for solo creators; once you set it up, it keeps you in the frame whether you're dancing or just walking around. It’s designed to simplify your workflow, letting you focus on creating rather than fiddling with settings or worrying about shaky shots. The rotating screen is also a thoughtful touch, making it easy to frame yourself for vlogs or switch to landscape for other types of shots.
What makes it stand out
- Features a 1-inch sensor, offering superior low-light performance compared to typical action cameras.

- ActiveTrack 6.0 offers intelligent subject tracking, a feature not commonly found on basic vlogging cameras.
- The screen rotates for both horizontal and vertical shooting, a flexibility not present in most fixed-lens cameras.
When this isn't the right fit
- The DJI Mimo app is not available on the Google Play Store, requiring a download from the DJI website.
- A separate battery charger is required, as it is not included with the standard purchase.
Real-world notes
- The 1-inch sensor captures impressive detail, especially in challenging lighting conditions.
- The 3-axis stabilization keeps footage remarkably steady, even during active use like dancing or hiking.
- ActiveTrack 6.0 effectively keeps the subject centered, simplifying self-recording.
- The ability to shoot in 4K at 120fps allows for detailed slow-motion playback.
