What we've verified about this price
Our read on this product
This case manages to deliver substantial protection without the usual heft, a common frustration with rugged phone cases. It’s designed to absorb impacts from drops up to twice the military standard, yet it remains slim enough that you’ll likely forget it’s there, which is exactly the point for everyday carry. The non-slip grip is also a practical touch, making it less likely you’ll need that drop protection in the first place.
Beyond just shielding your phone, this case subtly enhances the ownership experience. Wireless charging works without a hitch, removing a common point of friction with protective cases. The raised ring around the camera lenses is a thoughtful detail that prevents scratches when the phone is placed on surfaces, a small but significant detail that owners often discover and appreciate over time.
What makes it stand out
- Offers military-grade drop protection in a significantly slimmer profile than many rugged alternatives.
- Features a non-slip grip, unlike some smoother, purely aesthetic cases.
- Maintains full wireless charging compatibility, which isn't always a given with protective cases.
When this isn't the right fit
- This case is exclusively for the iPhone 13 Pro Max; it won't fit other models.
Real-world notes
- The slim profile is surprising given the level of drop protection.
- Wireless charging is fully compatible, no need to remove the case.
- The grip texture makes the phone feel more secure in hand.
- Camera lenses are well-protected by the raised bezel.
A confident pick for iPhone 13 Pro Max users prioritizing robust protection in a sleek, functional design.
