Our read on this product
You are choosing between a case that prioritizes heavy-duty bulk and one that simply keeps the back of your phone from looking like a set of keys went to town on it. This case lands in that middle ground, using a rigid polycarbonate back to fend off scratches while keeping the overall profile slim enough to slide into a pocket without snagging.
The side grips are where you will notice the difference during daily use. Instead of the slippery plastic found on many decorative covers, these have a textured finish that provides a bit of extra security when you are pulling the phone out of a bag or holding it one-handed. It is a straightforward way to add some personality to the device without turning it into a brick.
Real-world notes
- The back panel remains clear of fine scratches even after being tossed into bags with other items.
- Side textures make a noticeable difference in grip compared to the smooth, rounded edges of the bare phone.
- Buttons remain tactile and responsive rather than feeling mushy or difficult to press.
Pick this up if you want to swap out your current look for something more graphic while maintaining a slim, pocketable profile.
