Our read on this product
This broom and dustpan set is designed to tackle a common cleaning frustration: the messy aftermath of sweeping up hair. Its standout feature is the dustpan
s integrated comb teeth, which effectively remove trapped hair and debris from the broom with a simple swipe. This means no more picking it off by hand or spreading it around the floor. The long handle also ensures a comfortable, upright sweeping posture, making the entire chore less of a strain. It’s a practical upgrade for keeping floors tidy, especially in homes with furry companions.
The broom’s bristles are designed to capture fine dust and debris, and the beveled edge helps reach into corners and crevices. The dustpan’s rubber lip creates a seal with the floor, ensuring that swept-up dirt and hair are fully collected, not left behind to be redistributed. This thoughtful design aims to make floor cleaning more efficient and less of a hassle.
What makes it stand out
- The integrated comb on the dustpan’s edge efficiently removes hair and debris from broom bristles, a feature often missing in basic sets.
- The long, 52-inch handle allows for upright sweeping, reducing the need to bend and strain, which is a significant ergonomic advantage over shorter brooms.
When this isn't the right fit
- The bristles are designed for general floor sweeping and may not be abrasive enough for heavily soiled or sticky messes.
- While it addresses hair on bristles, deep cleaning of the broom itself beyond the comb feature would still require manual intervention.
Real-world notes
- The comb teeth on the dustpan significantly reduce the time and effort spent cleaning the broom after use, especially with pet hair.
- The long handle is comfortable for extended sweeping sessions, preventing back strain.
If you’re looking for a broom that simplifies the often-annoying task of cleaning itself, this set offers a clever solution.
