Our read on this product
This timer takes the hassle out of managing your outdoor electronics. You can set up to eight different schedules for lights, pumps, or garden tools, meaning you won't have to remember to turn them on or off manually, saving you time and potentially energy. Its weatherproof design means it's built to withstand the elements, so you can set it and forget it, even in less-than-ideal weather.
The dual outlets are a practical touch, allowing you to power two devices from a single timer, which is useful for coordinating landscape lighting or a pump and its filter. While it's designed for outdoor use, the ETL certification suggests it meets safety standards for reliable operation, giving you some peace of mind when automating devices that run unattended.
What makes it stand out
- Features eight customizable programs, offering more scheduling flexibility than basic single-program timers.
- Includes a protective weatherproof cover, which is crucial for outdoor resilience unlike many indoor-only timers.
- Provides two grounded outlets, allowing for simultaneous operation of multiple devices, which simpler timers often lack.
When this isn't the right fit
- This is not intended for indoor use.
- It's not designed for commercial applications.
Real-world notes
- Owners appreciate that it handles multiple schedules, making it easy to automate different outdoor devices throughout the week.
- The weatherproof cover is effective at protecting the outlets from rain and dust.
- The dual outlets are a convenient feature for powering more than one device simultaneously.
Consider this if you're looking to automate outdoor devices and want a set-it-and-forget-it solution.
