Our read on this product
Most drivers spend their time behind the wheel periodically reaching for a sliding phone or hunting for coins that migrated into the passenger footwell during a turn. This mat sits on your dashboard and creates a dedicated, high-friction landing zone that keeps those everyday carry items exactly where you left them. It relies entirely on the material's inherent tackiness, meaning you can move it between vehicles or reposition it on your dash without leaving behind any sticky residue or damaged surfaces.
Because it is washable, you will find that it stays functional for years rather than weeks. When dust eventually builds up and reduces its grip, a quick rinse under the tap restores the original tackiness. It is the kind of low-stakes addition that quietly eliminates a recurring frustration, making it one of those small interior upgrades that actually changes how you interact with your car on a daily basis.
What makes it stand out
- Unlike adhesive-backed mounts, this mat is completely non-permanent and leaves no residue on interior plastics.
- Its larger footprint provides enough surface area to hold multiple items, such as a phone, wallet, and sunglasses, simultaneously.
Real-world notes
- Tackiness naturally decreases as dust collects, but performance returns to like-new levels after a simple water wash.
- The material is soft enough to conform to slightly curved dashboards without lifting at the edges.
- Items like keys and sunglasses stay put even during sharp cornering or sudden braking.
Pick this up if you want a reliable, maintenance-free way to keep your phone and loose change from sliding across the dashboard during your commute.
