Standard king bedding often looks undersized on modern mattresses, but the extra width here ensures the comforter actually reaches down the sides of your bed.

Our read on this product
Most king-sized comforters end up looking a bit skimpy, barely covering the sides of a modern, thicker mattress. This set solves that by adding extra width, which allows the fabric to drape properly over the edges rather than sitting awkwardly on top. It gives the bed that finished, intentional look you usually only see in staged photos.
The pinch-pleat texture adds enough visual interest to keep a solid color from feeling flat or boring. Since it is made from brushed microfiber, it stays light enough for year-round use without feeling heavy or trapping too much heat. It is a straightforward way to refresh a room without needing to replace the entire bed frame or headboard.
What makes it stand out
- Extra-wide 118-inch width provides more side coverage than standard king comforters.
- Pinch-pleat texture provides a decorative, high-end appearance that flat microfiber sets lack.
When this isn't the right fit
- You have pets with sharp claws, as the pinch-pleat texture can snag more easily than a flat weave.
- You are looking for a heavy, weighted feel, as the microfiber construction is intentionally light and airy.
Real-world notes
- The extra-wide dimensions make it much easier to achieve a full, draped look without the comforter pulling up on one side.
- The pinch-pleat detail requires a quick shake or fluffing after washing to keep the tufted sections looking crisp.
- Machine washing is simple, but ensure your washer has enough capacity to handle the extra-wide dimensions comfortably.
Choose this if you want the visual weight of a larger comforter to hide a tall mattress or just prefer a more polished, hotel-style drape.
