Our read on this product
This system focuses on what matters by using AI to distinguish between people and vehicles, cutting down on the nuisance notifications that plague lesser security setups. You get clear 5MP Ultra HD video, so whether it's daytime or 100 feet into the night, you can make out crucial details like faces or license plates. Plus, the built-in 1TB hard drive means continuous local recording without any monthly fees, ensuring your footage is always there when you need it.
The weatherproof housing means it's built to handle whatever the elements throw at it, offering year-round reliability for your property. While it captures video, it also includes one-way audio, adding another layer of context to any events it records, which can be particularly useful for entryways or areas where you need to hear what's happening.
What makes it stand out
- AI human and vehicle detection significantly reduces false alerts compared to motion-only systems.
- 5MP Ultra HD resolution offers superior detail capture over standard 1080p or lower systems.
- Local 1TB storage eliminates recurring subscription fees common with cloud-based systems.
When this isn't the right fit
- This is a wired system, requiring cable runs for each camera.
- Audio recording is one-way only, meaning you can hear but not speak through the cameras.
Real-world notes
- The clarity of the 5MP resolution makes identifying people and objects much easier, even at a distance.
- Continuous local recording provides reliable access to footage without depending on internet connectivity for storage.
- The AI detection is a significant upgrade, leading to fewer irrelevant notifications that would otherwise demand attention.
Secure your property with smart, clear, and fee-free surveillance.
