What we've verified about this price
Our read on this product
This case offers a dual-layer design for robust protection, meaning it can handle everyday drops and bumps. It includes a metal ring that functions as both a kickstand for hands-free viewing and a holder, which is particularly useful when you need to prop up your phone. The built-in metal plate also means you can easily attach it to a magnetic car mount, simplifying your commute or travel.
While it provides significant protection and added utility, be aware that this case is not compatible with wireless charging. You'll need to remove the case each time you want to use a wireless charger, which could become a minor inconvenience depending on your charging habits. The case itself is designed to be sleek and compact despite its dual-layer construction, aiming to minimize bulk in your pocket or bag.
What makes it stand out
- Features a rotatable metal ring that doubles as a kickstand and holder, unlike cases without integrated stands.
- Includes a built-in metal plate for direct attachment to magnetic car mounts, negating the need for separate mounts or adhesives.
- Comes with two screen protectors, offering a more complete protection package out of the box.
When this isn't the right fit
- You frequently use wireless chargers.
Real-world notes
- The metal ring can be useful for propping the phone up in either orientation.
- The metal plate integrates seamlessly with magnetic car mounts.
- It offers a good balance of protection and a slim profile.
Consider this case if you prioritize drop protection and the convenience of a built-in kickstand and car mount, and don't use wireless charging.
