Our read on this product
Most portable chargers are designed for a single day of commuting, leaving you searching for an outlet by dinner. This unit changes the math by holding enough energy to keep a phone running for over a week of moderate use. It effectively turns your backpack into a wall outlet, removing the need to manage your battery percentage or hunt for power during long trips or extended blackouts.
The trade-off for this capacity is weight, as it tips the scales at just over a pound. While it is not something you will forget is in your pocket, its ability to charge four devices simultaneously makes it a central hub for a group. You will likely find that you stop rationing your device usage entirely, knowing the reserve is deep enough to handle tablets and headphones alongside your phone without running dry.
What makes it stand out
- Massive 50,000mAh capacity provides significantly more off-grid runtime than standard 10,000mAh or 20,000mAh portable chargers.
- Four-port output allows for simultaneous charging of multiple devices, which is rare in more compact power banks.
When this isn't the right fit
- You prioritize a lightweight setup for ultralight hiking or minimalist everyday carry.
- You do not have a dedicated spot in your bag for a one-pound brick.
Real-world notes
- The 1.1 lb weight is noticeable in a jacket pocket but manageable in a backpack or messenger bag.
- Charging four devices at once is convenient for groups but can slow down the overall charging speed per port.
- Requires a high-quality USB-C cable to actually see the benefit of the faster charging speeds.
Makes the most sense when you need to be completely untethered from a wall outlet for multiple days at a time.
