Our read on this product
Most string lights are a chore to manage, but these solve the frustration of having to manually reset your settings every time you plug them in. The memory function keeps your preferred mode active, while the timer handles the daily on-off cycle so you can tuck them behind furniture or wrap them around high-up rafters without needing constant access to the power source.
The copper wire is thin enough to disappear into greenery or drape over furniture frames, making the light source feel like it is floating rather than tethered to a bulky cord. Because they are rated for outdoor use, you can move them from a bedroom headboard to a patio railing without worrying about a little moisture ruining the display.
What makes it stand out
- Memory function eliminates the need to cycle through flashing modes every time you turn them on.
- Copper wire is significantly more pliable and easier to hide than traditional green or black plastic-coated cords.
When this isn't the right fit
- You need a heavy-duty, thick-gauge cord for permanent outdoor installation in harsh weather.
- You prefer a smart-home integrated system that connects to an app or voice assistant.
Real-world notes
- The copper wire is delicate and can kink if you pull it too hard during setup.
- The remote requires a direct line of sight to the plug to register commands reliably.
- The warm white hue is consistent across the entire length of the strand.
Pick these up if you want to set up an ambient display once and have it run automatically without further fuss.
